A New Goal
For the longest time I haven’t really had a goal. I didn’t know what the perfect fit would be. I am a person who is goal driven, I am one who likes to put my eye on the prize.
I’ve always wanted to run 10k under an hour, I did it. I wanted to be able to deadlift 300lbs, I did it, I wanted to be able to do a pull up, I did it. I wanted to do my fitness photoshoot, I did it. So now what can I do?
So what is the next goal????? I am going to be competing in the NPAA (national physique and athletics association) Canada Championship. I will be competing in the Transformation division.
I feel this is the goal that I have been searching for. I knew I didn’t want to compete in bodybuilding. For many reasons, I feel it’s just not the thing for me. I was looking for something that would push me a bit harder than my photoshoot but not make me go bat shit crazy.
So talking to my coach we felt this would be a great happy medium. This division is looking at healthy transformations in people. You get to go on stage, do the ‘bodybuilding’ walk and pose but can wear what you choose and show off how far you have come with a before picture.
I’m very excited to have started this new journey and I’m excited to see where I will end up.
